Pre-call for Applied Energy Cambridge Symposium

Energy-Water-Climate Nexus

30th September to 3rd October, 2018

Cambridge (Hughes Hall) & Norwich, UK

Water-energy nexus becomes increasingly important for climate change mitigation nowadays. Either the energy consumed in the production and supply of water or the water used in energy-related sectors reflect the interaction between two resources. Due to the fact that a city/region/nation could be affluent with/lack of both resources, or have sufficient water/energy resource while short of the other one, effective and accurate government policies can be determined and executed with the support of the research. The resources which are saved/better utilized will then greatly alleviate the climate problem that human beings are facing these days.

The Applied Energy International Symposium 2018 (AEIS2018) on Energy-Water-Climate (EWC) will be held during 30th September to 3rd October, 2018 , in Cambridge and Norwich, UK. EWC will include keynotes and invited speeches and poster sessions.

Participants of the AEIS2018 EWC are kindly invited to submit a title and abstract. All papers will be reviewed and the accepted ones will be presented at the workshop orally or by poster. Selected papers from the AEIS2018 will be recommended by the scientific committee for the further consideration of publication in prestigious journals including Applied Energy, and other renowned international journals.

Please note we will have to limit 30 oral presentations and 20 posters due to the room size and catering constraints of Hughes Hall College, Cambridge.
