Qiang Zhang

Qiang Zhang is a Professor and Deputy Dean at Department of Earth System Science, Tsinghua University. He was awarded with National Science Foundation for Distinguished Young Scholars (2016).

His research interests include developments of emission inventory and emission process model, regional air quality modeling, and satellite observations oftropospheric air pollution. The Asian emission inventory he developed has been widely used in scientific community. He has published more 270 SCI papers, with 20 papers in Nature and Nature sub-journal, Science Advances, PNAS. He is a highly cited scholar in China (Elsevier) and Global Highly Cited Scientist (Clarivate Analytics).
