Ya Zhou

Dr. Ya Zhou is an Associate Professor at Instituteof Environmental and Ecological Engineering, Guangdong University of Technology. She is also the member of Key Laboratory for City Cluster Environmental Safetyand Green Development of the Ministry of Education, as well as International Society for Environmental Information Sciences. She is a visiting scholar at University of East Anglia from Nov. 2017 to Nov. 2018. Her research interests include energy and environmental system analysis, sustainable consumption and regional sustainable development, and she particularly focuses on the environmental impacts and sustainable development pathways of booming takeaway industry. She has published papers in high-impact journals, such as Nature Food, Applied Energy, IEEE Transactions on Smart Grid, Journal of Cleaner Production and Journal of Industrial Ecology. She has awarded National Natural Science Foundation of China, Humanities and SocialScience Foundation in Ministry of Education of China, and National NaturalScience Foundation of Guangdong Province as principal investigator.
